- The Ackcio BEAM-BP is an external battery pack designed to extend the operational lifetime of Ackcio BEAM wireless nodes in remote or long-term monitoring installations.
- Developed for harsh environmental conditions, the BEAM-BP enables continuous and autonomous power supply where external energy sources are unavailable or impractical.
- The pack accommodates up to eight Li-SOCl₂ D-cell batteries (3.6 V nominal, 19 Ah recommended capacity) arranged in pairs, ensuring high energy density and stable output voltage under varying load conditions.
- Featuring IP67-rated protection and a wide operating temperature range from −40 °C to +80 °C, the BEAM-BP is engineered for outdoor and underground applications.
- The system includes a dedicated Battery Adaptor that regulates voltage output (6 V – 24 V input range) for reliable connection to compatible Ackcio BEAM nodes.
- Output circuits are fuse-protected to prevent overload, ensuring long-term safety and performance in demanding environments.
- The BEAM-BP currently supports Ackcio BEAM-DG Digital Nodes, with support for additional BEAM models under development.
- It can be easily mounted alongside Ackcio nodes using standard clamps or brackets for compact, maintenance-friendly installation.
